I bought these headlights in September for the holidays. I wanted to hang them up today but they don't work properly. Some of the lights were bright, some were dim, and some didn't shine at all. I've tried changing the lightbulbs, but the problem is with the wiring, not the lightbulbs. These lights cost $15 so I'm disappointed. The item was shipped and arrived on time. The one star rating refers to the product.

I love these battery powered lights. I use them outside on the patio at Christmas and there is no outlet nearby. This solved my problem. I went for a multicolored one and it looks beautiful. I also threaded a garland on the same railing. Such a stylish, festive touch. enough light. Now I'm thinking of other places I could use these battery powered flashlights so I can buy more. These lightbulbs are my favorite decoration in my room! I love all the different settings it has! I've attached a video showing all the different settings. There's a little box that you put batteries in and then press a button to switch to a different lighting setting. There were no problems with anything. Simply insert batteries and off you go! I have used these lights outside in an evergreen pot with a set of batteries every Christmas night for 2 months. I like the automatic 6 hours on/18 hours off. The lights aren't very bright but still gave my patio a sparkle. The battery pack has a rubber seal all around to keep the batteries completely dry. The battery box and headlights were covered with rain, often snow. I was happy with the purchase and next year bought a second unit for outdoors where I don't have electricity.

I have found that battery operated flashlights can either hit or miss. Some bulbs I bought from Amazon a few years ago worked fine the first year, the second year they started flickering erratically and oddly only 2 of the 4 colors faded (only used indoors). This is the time of year when you dream of BRIGHT Christmas garlands decorating the facade of your house. They are functional and practical when you don't have outlets OUTSIDE your home - someone had the brilliant idea of developing BATTERY OPERATED lights. They are great - there are nine (9) settings on the panel ranging from full off (!) brightening and tinting and so on. Looks great on wood. It turns itself off after a period of time (which I didn't record) to save batteries. These flashlights are powered by AA batteries; they are not connected. The lights are a good size too.
