Very nice warm white light. They looked great on my Christmas coat with green all over, but it would have been nice if the rope was a bit longer. Also, each string requires 2 batteries which I don't think last long. Just a few days. To remove the batteries you need to unscrew 4 small screws. It would be better if the batteries could be accessed without removing the screws that are easy to lose due to their small size.

They were amazing and burned for 4 full days! I have used them in bird cages. Hung in the trees in the yard during my wedding. We attached the wire to the top of the cage and spiraled it down, then we placed the tulle around the lights on the inside. I couldn't believe how long the batteries lasted! I actually left them for review as we will be using them again and now I have a rough estimate of 100 hours of work. These lights were perfect for what we needed! I hope this test will help others…

They were very bright once you set them up and maintained that brightness for hours but quickly dimmed. I probably shouldn't have left it on overnight, but I'm only human. So if you turn them off after a few hours and then turn them back on, the battery might last a little longer than mine. They fade pretty quickly anyway. So unless you're only going to be using them for a few hours, maybe buy the ones that you plug into an outlet. Unless you want to change the battery every 2 1/2 days or so…

Not sure about battery life but they are bright white and light up my hanging stained glass stars that have room for a small battery candle that never emits enough light to shine through the heavy glass. Everything is fine. by price. I recommend spending more and getting the same timer devices. Since these bulbs only have one switch I leave them on so battery life isn't that great and only 5 out of 6 bulbs worked right away (even after changing the battery). One goes straight in the trash.
