KONNWEI KW510 is a multifunctional device for servicing 12V car batteries. It combines three functions - checking the battery and engine starting system, restoring the battery and charging it. Supports work with all popular types of batteries. KONNWEI KW510 has a clear Russian-language interface. It implements reverse polarity protection (if connected incorrectly, the device, battery or electrical equipment of the car will not fail). Two temperature operating modes are supported - summer and winter (activated automatically depending on the ambient temperature).
Functionality: Battery test - analysis of the current state, calculation of the actual starting characteristics of the battery in a cold state and assessment of battery life. In this mode, the user receives complete information about the state and resource of the battery. If the remaining life is low, the tester will inform you about the need to replace the battery.
Start system test - check and analysis of the engine starter. Based on the actual value of the starter current and voltage, the correct operation of the starter can be assessed.
Analysis of the operation of the charging system, including the generator, rectifier unit, diodes, etc. It allows you to determine the normal output voltage of the generator, the serviceability of the rectifier diodes, the absence of overcharging or incomplete charging of the battery, as a result of which the life of the battery and other electrical devices of the car is reduced.
Battery recovery is a function that allows you to restore the characteristics of the battery using a pulsed voltage of a certain frequency. When battery sulfation or electrolyte stratification is detected, the process of cleaning the plates from lead sulfate starts, which appears on them during improper charging or incorrect operation, as well as simply with the age of the battery. Of course, this function will not bring the battery to factory values, but a significant increase in service life, and therefore saving money on buying a new battery, can be achieved.
Battery charging current up to 5A. The current is supplied in such a strength that the battery can accept or the charger can give out (calculated according to the either-or principle), but not exceeding 10% of the rated battery capacity. At the end of the charge (reaching the level of 14.5V), the device automatically switches to the charge saving mode.
