I used this cable to make a 5 foot alternator to battery cable for my upgraded 20 20 GT 208 Mustang 2.50 Heavy Duty Alternator with matching Cut round cable cutters from outside in, easy to remove/cut jacket, included 5/16 tabs (easy to loop to fit gaps on generator legs) with matching 1-set crimping tool, included heat shrink tubing terminal lug with cable, was shaped to perfection with a hair dryer , and the finished cable showed up perfectly when laid (the supplied plastic corrugated…

My RV actually came with a 2000w inverter but only with 4 gauge wire. The manual for the inverter called for a 2/0 wire and a 250 amp fuse or circuit breaker. I used this cable pack to replace a cheap 4 gauge cable. As others have said, make sure you have the right tools to cut the wire and crimp the ends. I used a heat gun on low power to shrink the shrink wrap around the ends of the wires. It worked great. Good quality!

The cable is of very good quality. The set is perfect, it has everything you need and I'm glad the shrink sleeves came with it. My only issue is that I bought the 10ft black and 10ft red combo and the red is about 8.5ft long. I'm just lucky I didn't need that much red, but I'm a bit disappointed that this company, perhaps not on purpose, makes such mistakes that can jeopardize the project. These wires are very expensive and usually buy exactly what you need. Too bad that happened.

I used this wire to make a 5 foot alternator to battery wire for my 2008 Mustang GT 250amp upgraded alternator. The sheath is easily removed/trimmed to fit the supplied 5/16 wire lugs (rotated slightly to match alternator pole spacing) using the correct 1 pack heat gun crimp tool and the finished wire showed up at the Installation perfect (I used the plastic corrugated protection sheet included in the kit in places of friction). Great set worth every penny!
