Baxter of California Comb: Elevate Your Hair Styling Game Review

Great quality, I really like this comb. However, it is really very small. This is convenient, but pay close attention to the measurements. I've added a photo of it next to my hand for size reference.

Very nice comb at an overpriced price. Can't fault the price - I mean I wasn't forced to buy it. After a few years, the steam from the shower started to curl up. I tried bending it back. It broke in two. So, you know, don't try. This lasted six years. That's not bad - about three dollars and thirty-three cents a year. It was like renting a comb.

I retired from the US Army in 2019. I haven't had a comb or brush since 1990. When I retired I grew a beard. I realized pretty quickly that I needed a beard comb and a beard brush. Seeing this made me wonder who would pay that kind of money for a beard comb (that kind was called a mustache comb the last time I had hair). I figured with all the money I'd saved over the years when I didn't have hair products, I could find out if it was worth the money. I mean, it's a good comb, but it's not life…

My husband has 2 of them. One is small and the other is medium-sized. It looks beautiful and we thought it was a great product. Recently noticed that both combs are bent in the middle. I've never had a crest bend. I have attached photos and am wondering what could be causing this? I don't want to take a new one if it happens again. Help!

Just bought 3 more as gifts and found I bought this one back in 2014. It's been 4 years and I still reach for this comb in the morning. Still stylish, no fading or broken parts. It is easy to clean and rarely needs to be done. It has now accompanied me on several trips across the states and has not bent or broken in my dopp kit. A little more expensive in dollars but I will buy again if needed and make as a gift today.

I never thought I would spend so much on a comb but decided to give it a try based on what I read. I never thought a comb could work and not cause a scalp ache. That's great.
