🔋 Astron BB-30M Battery Backup Module Review

I use a lot of Astron gear as a radio operator. Need a backup battery module, have checked many of these and luckily I am missing a screw when purchasing. Replacement Options - Return the device to the US for a replacement at a minimum cost of $50 USD via DHL/UPS. General ASTRON, please improve the quality. Now I need a "Columbus" screw that fits. Not happy at all.

This device is great in concept, but it introduces a 0.4V voltage drop from your 13.8V power supply to your hardware. This sometimes limited my radio's overall transmit power. About two months later the battery charging function stopped working and I sent it back. Since it was outside the return window, it cost me $20 for the "refill".
