I used to keep my credit card receipts in a folder and often the counter was a mess waiting to be sorted and cut. Now I just come home and put them on and I'm done, they're right there on my desk.

Serves the purpose but is very poorly made. The mandrel is assumed to be screwed into the base. It didn't fit on either block. I had to use pliers and literally put pressure on the spike to tighten it, but not without marks, dents and scratches.

It is what it is and does what it should. However, the two I received have an unsightly logo on the base. Yes it is closed when the rod is in use, but 1) it is not always in use, and 2) you should get what is pictured! That's the principle!
