I am disappointed in this size. The 3 or 4 pins I tried are pretty standard size for a brooch, but the tube is much smaller here. The entire pendant dangles and slides, leaving a visible gap. I can install this with some spacer beads but I wouldn't order again.

I have a lot of great old pins that I want to turn into pendants. I ordered this vertical converter. It's large, especially the loop, which allows for even larger chains to be used. However, I found his design to stick out quite a bit with the post tube that the post goes through. As a result, the pen does not lie flat; it leans forward quite a bit when hanging. Good but not great. I will continue to look for a flatter design so the hanger hangs flat and is not tilted.

I have a collection of pins that I like to wear as pendants. I was looking for a solution to solve this dilemma. When I bought this converter I thought maybe I finally found it. Although it transforms the output, it does so in an unacceptably clumsy way. The shaft of the pin goes through the converter and the top of the converter becomes a shackle that you attach to the chain. Unfortunately, due to the design, the pin/tag hangs forward. It also moves from side to side and even flips completely.
