Excellent waxed linen with strings of beads and threads

This is a wonderful waxed linen. I made jewelry out of it. It's also great for fixing things. I have a roll of these in my car. In an emergency, it can work wonders. Great deal, much cheaper than craft stores.

Pros
  • Looks beautiful
Cons
  • Can be exchanged

Quality Irish Waxed Linen

Purchased for my daughter to make a dream catcher for as a Christmas present. Waxed linen is perfect for this, it's really easy to work with and the end product is beautiful. I highly recommend this waxed Irish linen.

  • Model number: WLNA
Cons
  • Only available in white

Not very strong

This type of thread was recommended for shoes. It felt good at first, but it broke twice while sewing and I had to remove the thread and start over. Linen yarn is usually quite strong, but this one is not. More wax than linen. Low quality. This thread might be useful for light projects, but impractical for anything else. Might make a good candle wick

Pros
  • This product is made in the USA
Cons
  • Some flaws

My bookshelves look like a jeweller's shop with rhinestones and pearls and above all my old favorites peep out, which I still can't part with. I like the waxed linen cord best. It doesn't leave marks on my best books, and the bookmark doesn't distort pages like crochet bookmarks do. A big plus is the limitless range of colors and styles to draw from. Quick and charming gifts, and…
