Beadalon Artistic Wire 6 Prong Knitter Review

(6 prongs) Whatever wire I use it still bends and breaks. I used dead soft copper of various gauges (20-26), silver sheet and art. No success. So let's be quiet for a while. I wonder if wooden spools are lighter than plastic spools? I kept watching 2-3 videos.

Ordered this for a 9 year old to use with rubber bands to make a hexagon fish bracelet. This tool has no moving parts so several factors must be taken into account when evaluating. The "barrel" is a good size for my hand, but it may be more difficult for people with large hands to handle. What would be nice and cheap to implement would be a slot in the bottom of the handle to hold the starting end of the wire.
