Wear and tear is frustrating

I have used the Fire Line for both beadwork and fishing for several years. Looks like the wharf collapsed last year. I find more and more often that there are wear points directly on the spool, which I then have to trim and dispose of. This material is not cheap and cutting off several meters due to wear and tear can become expensive. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm looking for replacement thread for beading and fishing. fur

In the past, when I've bought it from sites that specifically sell beads and other beading related items, the markings on the Fireline would indicate it was beading thread. The Fireline twine I bought from Revain didn't say this and when working with it I found it frayed and knotted more easily. I know that Fireline is used as a line and I wonder if that was the reason for this quality. I will not buy it from…
