📱 Universal Car Phone Mount Holder: Beam Electronics Air Vent Mount for iPhone 12/11 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S4-S10, LG Nexus, and More (Black) Review

I bought the previous model of this Beam phone holder in July 2019. He served about a year and a half. I paid less than this updated model so it was worth the $12 (or so) I paid. The clip eventually failed to hold the vent blade securely. I purchased this Beam product in January 2021. The clip on this item failed after only a few months, too late to return. Disappointed with the purchase.

I used this to conveniently place my iPhone while driving. It's perfectly customizable and will likely fit many different sized phones as described. My biggest problem is that it rattles quite loudly when there is no phone in it. I like to install and leave something, but I have to remove it when I'm not using it. Overall it does what it says on the tin and slides in and out easily. Holds up very well, I recommend.

This phone holder is the best! We had to start with this when the state moved to a no-text law a few years ago. I bought two for both of our cars and we still have them. You may need to readjust them to make sure they sit securely on the dash, but they will sit and not fall out. We just had to figure out which vent valve to connect it to because my husband fell out first. But now it's perfect! I didn't need one that charges your phone as I haven't updated my phone to the latest version. This one doesn't work and works great. It sits securely in place and doesn't cause any problems. I love the simplicity of this device. I bought my first Beam over a month ago. I drive a Ford Escape that has vertical bars or louvers for the fan design (see photo). Most car mounts rely in part on the gravity of the horizontal ribs to keep them from sliding down. This mount surprised me with its quality. The clamp that attaches the mount to the vent leaves a lot to be desired as I can see where it loses grip over time, but for now it works great. Product failed after 30 days of inactivity. I flip my phone back and forth at least twice a day at work and on weekends to keep my hands free. The release button is stuck and the gripper arms have slipped off the gears. I tried lubricating the guides, gears and trigger with 100% silicone. Releasing the release button didn't work.
