Big improvement over halogen

Purchased for a 2002 Tahoe. Haven't tried them at night yet, but in daylight they seem much brighter than the halogen bulbs! I would say they are closer to the 5000K color output which is perfect! I prefer 5000K but that wasn't an option when I bought it. At least for the kit I bought they tend to be on the warmer side of the advertised color temperature. I believe you get the most visible light output from 5000K bulbs. Closely match the low beam (9006). As you can see from my photos you will…

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Upgradeable

03-07 Silverado - Customization issues are solvable, but not for laypeople.

I want to like them better. They are nicely packaged and the design of the bulbs looks great. They go perfectly with my 2007 Silverado Classic. until you put the headlight assembly back into the truck and it just doesn't fit. I looked closely and saw that the radiator was in the way. OK. I'm a mechanic and I've always fixed things like this. I tried a few different ways to put them in there and they worked for me! But the light pattern just wasn't right. I sort of went back to the drawing board

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Some bugs

We chose these LED bulbs because the price was cheaper than high-end halogen bulbs. Finally, they worked great in our 2010 Corolla Projector headlights. At first I was worried they would blind oncoming traffic too much like a lot of HID kits you see on the road. Since the light output is significantly stronger than that of the factory halogen, we have lowered the light a bit. The end result is what you see in the picture (sorry for the picture, the light looks too bright than it actually is…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Works fine on a 1997 BMW but gives a "bulb failure " code.

Installed in a 1997 BMW 328iPro: color temperature very white. New cars these days have very white Xenon or LED headlights so installing them on my 20 year old car really refreshes the look of the car. They don't have fans, so they're quiet and there are no moving parts to fail. Cons: After a few cycles, my car's computer finally noticed that these bulbs draw less power than standard halogen bulbs and gave me a "Low Beam Failure" message. . I understand I can get a kit to remove this message…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

First you need to take care of the space required for the cooler. I ran thermal infrared on it, and after 15 minutes it stopped, the engine was only running at 150 degrees at base, and the radiator fins were running around 80 (although the outside temp was 45), so nothing should melt, but be careful . FYI: They're nowhere near the temperature of halogen bulbs. Second, the higher color temperature gives MUCH MORE "perceived" light and the light output is probably 30% higher than standard halogen

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Appearance
