Ideal for cats with allergies

One of my cats is allergic and can't wear cheap little dog collars (my cats don't like bells). He got so angry that the hair on the back of his neck couldn't grow for a year. Let him walk without a collar all the time. His hair grew back with the help of allergy medication. When I put this collar on he hated it for about an hour and then forgot it was there. He's still allergic to environmental stuff, so I have to be more careful about trimming his nails so he doesn't break the collar and getโ€ฆ

The best protective collar.

I've been using Beastie Bands for almost 10 years because they are the safest collars - a buckle collar can choke a cat if caught and most "pull-away" collars are either too tight or too tight for them loose did not break when needed or break too easily, such as when a cat is grooming itself. My tabby has worn a skull collar for many years; this is my favorite beastie band design! He hates collars, but this one is so soft he's gotten used to it. You can crop them and false flat labels areโ€ฆ

Reliable and easy to set up

I had trouble installing the split ring connector for my brand of cat as it kept rubbing against the foam and I wouldn't fit another one as I think it ruins the foam But the metal tab that the split ring hangs from is secure and I don't feel like it will fall out despite having a heavier, stronger tag and bell. The foam is enough for a cat that doesn't really like collars to be able to remove them with a strong hind leg, but there's no doubt that a cat is safe if it gets caught and needs to get

Reliable and comfortable

We use them for both cats and our miniature dachshund. Actually, we started buying them for the dachshund first. He's only 9 pounds so he's a short guy with not a lot of hair so I'm worried something is bothering his skin. Since he wears a harness we didn't need a collar to attach a leash to, so they seemed perfect. And you! I love them for both dogs and cats. Super soft, the neoprene makes them stretchy so the cat can run away from them if they get caught on something, but the velcro keepsโ€ฆ

If you have a cat that doesn't wear a collar try this

When I first saw the collar I was disappointed. I figured there was no way it would stick with my tiny/huge 18 lb horror cat who, as always, refused to wear a collar and would snap or crawl out of every one I'd ever tried. Surprisingly, after a day or two of trying all his old tricks, he admitted defeat! Have had it for about 4 months now. It stretches a bit, which would be nice if it ever got caught on something and needed to come out, but I don't think markings would be great, especially ifโ€ฆ
