The Harmony remote I use to control all my AV gear doesn't have a microphone for voice search (the Nvidia remote does, but I like my Harmony). I started working from home a year ago due to the coronavirus. I have several meetings a day and have often been told that it sounds like I have a fan running next to me. Had not. The microphone on my PC just couldn't handle it. I tried another external microphone and this one works best. I've been using it for a few months now, no more complaints about poor sound quality.

I work from home and have meetings throughout the week. Headphones hurt my ear, so when I use them for a long time and my computer doesn't have a built-in microphone, this has worked great for me. It works great on my PC, Macbook and Pixelbook. I didn't have to install any software and I can work from anywhere in the room. I do group training at home with a personal trainer. My laptop's microphone didn't interfere since I wasn't at the computer. I bought it because it's omnidirectional and has a good range (over 12 feet). I have it on a TV table and it captures the whole room. There is no software for it, it's just plug and play (just need to toggle the zoom to use this mic instead of the built in mic)

I work remotely, I have a laptop and two monitors. I'm on video conferences quite often and have been told that my voice sounds muffled when I speak. I just needed a basic microphone speaker and that helped. I was told you can hear me now. It was easy to install. Just plug in the USB. The speaker turned out a lot smaller than I thought it would, but it works! Highly recommended.
