Very Unsatisfactory Oil Filter Experience

This oil filter is poorly made, leaving me to question if it's even a genuine automotive part. My analysis of this product showed that it has weak filters leading to oil contamination, increased wear on engine components and engine malfunctions.

Great oil filters at a reasonable price

These are fleece filters and have been using them for a while now. They're a good alternative to buying from a specialty store if you're planning on changing your oil yourself.

I have purchased this particular filter in the past and have been pleased with the quality which has turned out to be OEM level. However, my last purchase of this filter was of a different design. It is now made in Korea, does not have the typical winding of the string and is loosely placed on the filter rod. In fact, you can easily wiggle it from side to side on the shaft, which can spill unfiltered oil. I'm going to replace it with a MANN filter in the hope they don't sell out to cheap…
