Bought for my 2000 Subaru Impreza RS 2.5. After I managed to drain the remaining gear oil in the driveway, I cleaned the oil pan and measured the gasket. To my relief, it fitted perfectly. I carefully removed the filter mounts (keep tidy, they're different lengths) and replaced the included filter. Spent time tightening the filter and pan mounting bolts one by one. Tip: Reinstall the pan gasket and install all screws prior to installation. The new gasket holds the bolts and holds the pan gasket

Great fit! Be sure to replace the screen filter instead of cleaning it. The filter I removed had debris stuck in the screen that would not come out.

This filter (screen) is attached to the screen with 19 screws. My Förster 04 needs three bolts, the difference on the screen is huge. As I said, this is not the right filter for my 04 Foster. It also shows that my poetry came without her.

I have a 2003 Subaru Legacy. Although I didn't really need the screen, I installed it along with a new gasket. The manufacturer says you can use a sealant. But the seal fits and works perfectly. There are no leaks yet.

Filter looks good but will not fit 2005 Forester XT (Turbo model). The gasket fits perfectly, so I am not returning this item. Let's hope it doesn't leak for a reasonable amount of time. I really don't want to use 'make gasket' type products as removing the oil pan is very difficult.
