This is the correct version of what BMW got wrong. The BMW pan/filter tends to crack in the corner toward the front of the car. It seems a waste that BMW chose to integrate the filter into the oil pan, requiring you to replace the entire oil pan when a simple replacement filter could just as easily be replaced for a tenth of the cost. Package does not match original ZF product. Delivered well, shrink wrapped which is very good. In general, the device has become very high-quality in terms of appearance and design.
