This is perfect for my 2006 Impreza 2.5i. .

Perfect for my 2006 Impreza 2.5i. This is for the automatic transmission. I had no problems and everything went as it should. Exchanged the old one for 170,000. Huge difference.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Almost never

Doesn't fit my Outback 98

Not as advertised. The angle of the part doesn't match my '98 Outback drivetrain when it should. I went with the more expensive stock mount which fit perfectly but it was a waste of money.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Useless features

Easy to install on my 1998 Subaru Impreza L 2

Easy to install on my 1998 Subaru Impreza L 2.2L Automatic. The new bracket helped improve my shifters a bit so it's definitely in better condition than my original ($170,000). For now this is a very reliable aftermarket mount.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost OK

Terrible gear mount

Terrible gear mount. Not suitable for transmission. I had to bend it with a hammer to get it to fit. I then had to enlarge the holes in the cross member to fit the studs. Just terrible quality. Buy another mount if you want it to fit.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • No instructions

Perfect fit for Forester 03 car

Purchased for 03 Forester car. Fits perfectly. The rubber part of the old post was very compressed compared to this one. I just replaced it while working on the gearbox but to be honest I don't feel any difference. However, given the condition of the old part, I think it's a good idea to swap it out.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Upgrades

DO NOT BUY, I'M NOT JOKING.

Although I may be lucky and live up to all the mixed reviews. NO, the fit was not even close to my 2004 Forester XT car. The angle steel is completely at the wrong angle and the studs don't even sit properly. Generally nonsense. Had to spend 2 hours of my day driving to the auto parts store where he was so I could put my car together. Went with a DAE product and it was perfect.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best

Doesn't go together perfectly

But pretty close. The only difference was that the center bolt on my original mount was longer and had a longer arm - it looked like a stop bolt. Not sure if it's me or just me, but the install was quite a big PITA. I had to lower the exhaust, lower the cross member and raise the transmission to install this on my 97 AWD Legacy L Wagon. EDIT: August 28, 2017. I have never had any issues with this mount since installing it in November 2011. , 74K miles so far.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • So far so good
