Good construction. Fits perfectly

Beautiful design. Fits perfectly. The store had the water pump replaced and they replaced it without realizing it was new. I'm waiting for an apology to reset it.

Pros
  • Features a standard rotary valve where Original Equipment requires it and has a long stroke for maximum cooling
Cons
  • Upgrades

Acted like it was stuck open.

I replaced the thermostat in my Subaru because it was cooling at 40 degrees below operating temp and this thermostat had the same problem although the Subaru never overheated.

Pros
  • Special application for this car
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

2006 Subaru WRX in Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning

I installed this on my 2006 Subaru WRX. Apparently this is a cheaper replacement for the stock thermostat. It's been working for over a year, I've driven about 10,000 km since it was installed, no problems.

Pros
  • Faithful form, fit and function
Cons
  • Something different
