Beck-Arnley sensors have survived 50,000 miles.

I've driven about 50,000 miles with a pair of these sensors. I changed both at the same time about 4 years ago. Cheap but maybe not worth it?

Pros
  • Designed for harsh under hood conditions
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Do not buy this item. That does not work!

Ordered 2 of these Beck Arnley 180-0473 crank angle sensors. While my car was in the shop they installed a new engine. I bought them when the engine was finished. I would swap the sensors. NOT CORRECT! Immediate failure! A crank & cam phase error diagnostic test was performed. The car idles, stalls, etc. I am very familiar with this issue and the Nissan Altima. A lot has changed since you bought this machine. These sensors always fail! However, these 2 refused out of the box! And I can't get…

Pros
  • Includes corrosion resistant connectors and covers
Cons
  • The list will go on.

GARBAGE in spare parts

I only gave this one (1) star because I couldn't give it any stars. This is not a correct part for a 2005 Nissan Altima. I bought it and the first problem I had was an oil leak. It is approx. 4 mm smaller than the original sensor, so oil begins to flow out as the temperature rises. After replacing the crankshaft and cam sensors, engine performance began to deteriorate significantly until the SES (critical issue) light started blinking. I parked my car and bought two sensors of different brands…

Pros
  • Premium construction for durability
Cons
  • Negative impression

This is a Nissan 2.5L OEM Refurbished part to fit

I saw a bad review before purchasing this part. I'm not sure what the problem was for this guy. There have been many problems, but I see many Nissan 2.5L owners constantly encountering problems with these sensors. Here's what I know, hope it helps you. This is a good sensor that will restore a smooth ride on the 2.5 liter engine when a P0335 code occurs for a crankshaft position sensor malfunction. Nissan dealers are now charging $70 to $110 for this part for absolutely no other reason than to…

Pros
  • Same as original form, fit and function including magnet strength
Cons
  • Mostly good but...
