Was skeptical as other reviews weren't amazing but this is the best wand I've bought. I have 3 more, different sizes/shapes. It's great for fine hair as the slight taper towards the top adds volume and the larger end keeps the length. Great beach waves. Only 7 curls are obtained in total.

I have tried this product several times and it always makes my hair look like an 80's girl. I have very thick hair, so the effect seems to increase. Like an old perm? I'll try to use it a few more times to see if I can keep it looking good but so far the curls have been a lot closer to my scalp - which is the purpose of the reverse taper - just looks silly. Looks better with short hair though. I have pretty long hair. I'll let you know if I can make this tool look decent.

The curls are great! I love that it's narrow at the top and then widens out. I wish there was temperature control because the thing gets very hot. Also, the glove is a joke! It's not that heat resistant and fits oddly. But overall I really like this curler.

I love the volume this barrel gives my long, heavy and very straight hair. Get really nice curls. However, there are a few things about this wand that make it far from perfect. The first is the end cap, which really limits the length of the heated part. If you have short hair, this probably isn't a problem. Second, and the reason I won't be holding this, is the kickstand.
