I ordered four. Three out of four as described. One of the four looked used but the interior looked rusty and/or contaminated with some type of rust or slag. This one wasn't bubble wrapped like the other three - so it might just be a return. I recommend you order extra if this happens to you. Also, it's 304 SS instead of 316 SS. You might prefer 316 for drinking water, but who knows what it's actually made of?

Pretty pipe but I would say this pipe had at least one thread and maybe two short ones. The pipe thread is tapered and the thread seemed to mate with the male thread. But after the threaded section on the pipe nipple, there was a neat shoulder - and the coupling was screwed to the end, and then it hit the shoulder and stopped. If it wasn't leaking, you were in business—if it was leaking, there was no way to get an extra half-twist over your shoulder. We ended up threading with a threader to add
