Made of 304 stainless steel, corrosion resistant ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Type: 1/2" Female x 1/2" Female thread, near 1" length (exact 27mm), pack of 2. Operating temperature: range from -65 to 250 degrees F. Widely use: Pipe threads are use widely for pipes and easy to replace and install. Worked to connect strainer to beer kettle

I purchased a strainer for a beer kettle that had a male connection on the inside. I needed this stainless steel coupling in order to connect it. Worked like it should.

Casting is low quality and pitted

I ordered this to use in finish and exposed location with a shower fixture. The visual quality of this product is nothing like the images. Instead, the coupling is pitted and unpolished. Definitely not a case of what you see is what you get. For $6, I expected better than this.

REALLY BAD QUALITY AND NOT ROUND

THIS ITEM LOOKS LIKE IT WAS MADE BY A 5 YEAR OLD IN THE TRUNK OF A CAR . NOT ROUND SO I HAD CONSTANT WATER LEAKING AND NOT CLEAN SHINY LIKE THE PIC SHOWS. . ALMOST A SCAM .

NPS (National Pipe Straight) not NPT (National Pipe Taper)

I wanted an NPT coupling and that's what I searched for. I should have read the description more carefully: this is a straight fitting, NOT tapered. I don't know how you would seal this if used for water.
