After a week, this product has no OEM feeling when it comes to the flat key fold and unfold. Our original was fine for over 10 years until the internal spring came loose - it just wobbled and wouldn't snap anyway. This key case is well made, especially for the price. But beware what I want to know. The key will not start the car if you just put the keypad and the original metal key in this new case. You also need to move the RFID chip. Moving the keyboard was easy. Replacing the blank key with my cut key was doable but quite confusing. You need to insert the spring exactly into the correct slot in the base of the key, then turn it counter-clockwise and put the body back on without the pieces falling out.
