Very strong stainless steel without sharp edges. I especially like the flared top. To make it easier to empty, simply lift it off the two screws and pull it out. You don't have to dig there. it worked. do not let me down. Works great but I would say you have to be careful to put it far enough under the opener so it doesn't get in the way of the bottle when you open it. I would also argue that the same stipulation for this as for the opener is that you really need something solid to install it - wood, not painted drywall. My only criticism is that the screws that came with them were a bit short, so I had to replace some of the others. It's okay, but they should have been longer.

Nice little bonus. I was surprised to see the physical size when I received this item as it is smaller than I imagined. But it works well and is exactly what I wanted. The holes provided were not precise enough to allow for a level installation without shifting the height of the mounting screws.
