Simple and elegant plastic replacement

I lost an expensive waxed bag and wanted to try sewing to replace it. We will keep you informed of the results. The material is hard, but needs to be softened. Beautiful bright colors, cotton fabric in three sizes. Will fabric waxing become my new hobby?

Pros
  • Household items
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Doesn't stick in place but great product.

Very good! They don't feel sticky, but if you put the foil on something hot, be prepared to rub off some beeswax and see a slight discoloration of the foil. I have to press them down with rubber bands, which is easy enough. The design is beautiful. I won't be buying it again as I recently learned how easy it is to make a beeswax wrap.

Pros
  • Paper and plastic
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great alternative to storing single use food

Love this alternative way to deform food or trays. This makes it sticky enough to fit in the bowl I'm covering and usually sticky enough to form a decent coating. After a period of several days in the fridge, it can be removed without any problems. It left wax residue on the sides of the bowl the first few times I used it, but that bothered me enough after further investigation. Like all wax products, it will melt with sufficient heat, so it should not be used in a microwave oven to heat food…

Pros
  • Plastic wrap
Cons
  • Can't remember
