I like this teapot. It heats water quickly and you don't have to worry about it rusting like these silver ones. Necessary!

After a few months if you look I'm peeling the side of the stainless steel what you drink with it I shouldn't buy this.

I was pleased with the size and appearance. Looking at the photo on the website I was wondering if it would be a smaller size. This is the traditional teapot size. We have a propane stove and we know the temperature is the highest of any gas or electric stove, so it cooks at the lowest temperature. At the same time, the pot was half full and whistled with a pleasant whistle for a little over a minute.

Light weight isn't necessarily an advantage for a kettle that's meant to keep the water warm for a while. The spout cap doesn't close tight enough for whistles to indicate the water is boiling, so you have to keep an eye on the thing to know when it's boiling. Looks nice, light (good?), does not whistle when boiling water. You get what you pay for.

I do not advise you to buy this kettle unless you are a very meticulous person. After brewing tea, I poured out excess water and then sat face up with a spout and lid to allow it to air dry. It did nothing for the water that stays in the seam of the pot. As you can see from the photos I have two spots where the water has sat long enough to rust. Now I have a decoration for a shelf in the kitchen.

The main issue I have with this kettle is that you have to put your hand on the spout to open it to pour. When the water is boiling (which of course always happens when you open it, because that's what it's all about) it seems a bit risky. I would have preferred the flap to be further down the handle so you can open the lid without getting too close to the heat. In addition, the kettle does its job. Looks good, boils water quickly, whistle is nice and loud. The handle material feels comfortable

Good thing this teapot doesn't rust on the inside. I use this kettle once a day to boil water for tea. My water comes from a well and leaves a mineral residue on most of my stainless steel cookware, including this kettle, but it cleans up easily and shows no signs of rust. This was the main thing when I bought it from Belanco who claimed it wouldn't rust and so far it's true. The only issue I had was the handle and whistle component wobbling and I'm worried that if it gets any looser and falls…
