Essential for VP

Of course, like all misers, I tried to work with the razor blade with the VP. Trust me when you read this. It's not worth the trouble. Just take this little jig and separate these pairs as easily as your fingers.

#1 for splitting cable pairs

The best tool on the market for making CAT5/6 cables. Speeds up the process of splitting pairs for RJ45 placement and also saves your fingers from pain when making lots of cables for each job. I've been using one of these for 5 years and can't see myself without it.

Best cable sizing tool I've ever seen

I love these tools and find them invaluable for CAT6 termination. They are ideal for cutting through the cable jacket without damaging the individual cores. Just give a full or 3/4 turn around the cable with moderate force and the sheath should snap and loosen. You don't need to stress yourself too much. A small splitter at the end is also very practical for separating 4 pairs of wires from each other. Simply twist each pair a little at the base to create a small gap, insert a metal pin and…
