Based on some reviews I was skeptical to buy it. I have an iPhone 8 Plus with an Otterbox case and it works great, no more plugging into the charging port and eventually my outlet dies as has happened with several phones I've had. I am satisfied that I plugged in the charger go to bed and go in the morning. I am satisfied with the product.

If I could give fewer stars I would. My husband has the same charger and loves it so I decided to order one for my new phone. My husband has an iPhone 8 Plus and I have an iPhone X. This device works with the iPhone X for about five minutes and then just randomly stops charging. I woke up at 3am to find my phone was completely dead. I returned to the charger.

First of all, this charger charges my phone about half as fast as regular USB chargers. Secondly, it will only charge when it is in a very specific spot on the stove AND it has a very small or no phone case on it. .I was so excited about wireless charging, I use my phone a lot and like to listen to music at work, so this is a great idea for charging when I don't use Bluetooth headphones. . . This is really contradictory. I only use the charger by my bed and check if it's charging before bed and 'green light on' when I put the phone on the charger and after 8 hours it's 60%. Sometimes it is fully charged and sometimes not. I'm not sure, and when I first noticed it I thought it was user error (me), but now I'm sure I got the green light and the battery life is still inconsistent.

This charger works very well for the amount I paid and for what I expected - being a wireless charger it doesn't charge as fast on, just like when you call it plug in directly. This is a bit more expensive than the others but note that it comes with a charger. You can get one for half the price, but then you also have to buy a charger if you don't have one, which can close the gap. I've used this with an iPhone X and an older Nexus 7 tablet. It works great. I've had three or four wireless chargers over the years and this is by far the easiest to use, it's large and very easy to put down and charge up.
