Horrible static makes cables useless

Terrible reviews after minimal use. I really wanted to be retro and have a long cord, but you can't hear anything because of the static that cord creates. Back to a short cable, not static.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Don't buy this for phone cord

Don't worry about this cord. Worked fine for a month then started being full of hiss half the time when I couldn't hear the person on the other end of the line. Surprised it's Belkin because it doesn't have quality, save money.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others

Reliable cable that works well

Great cable which I have used with my Panasonic KX-TS500B phone for years. I didn't like the short and flimsy cord the phone came with so I bought this one. It's durable, stretches enough to fit the room, but not so long that it gets tangled.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Little repairability

becomes hopelessly tangled and static

This cable immediately tangles on its own and the connection is poor. Breaks and breaks with static electricity. Belkin is usually on top, but not this time. If I could give it a ZERO rating, I would. Revain needs to create a null category. This evaluates to NULL.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some difficulties

It's a Belkin under Accessories and Supplies

Some advertisers say they didn't receive the Belkin, it came packaged in a box with a Belkin cardboard label and looks pretty solid. Note that the normal length of the coil doesn't exceed 25ft, probably more like 4-5ft, and can stretch about 10ft if used without pulling the phone.

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • Update Availability

It's a phone cord

Yes, we also have a "land line" (connected to a modem, I don't know what to call it!) because it doesn't go very far. Now you can use this cord, it stretches very well and doesn't get tangled. Yes, we are satisfied.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

It's been a year and he's still holding on.

I bought this for retail where we need a long phone cord. A year later, it's holding up better than anything the retail company I work for gave us. I believe what they gave us was the cheapest they could get while this phone cord is made from the finest materials. With daily use, this is stretched almost to its maximum length at all times.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

Become a pro! for accessories and consumables

Belkin is a reliable product in my opinion. This 25 foot cable arrived promptly and was properly packaged. I connected it to my wall phone. After 8 weeks of daily use and many stretches, the cable remains in excellent condition. On this phone it hangs 2 feet down and 2 feet up. The length of the retracted joint is 4 feet. Over the same years as now, most of my cords have buckled and stretched and dragged across the floor when pulled back. The wall telephone is 1.50 m above the floor.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
