I bought this seat belt pad because I always tuck my seat belt under my arm so it doesn't rub or put pressure on my neck. However, this removes part of the seat belt security element, which is not ideal. I've been using this seat belt for 2 years with no problems. I bought this to cover my chest and neck harness because the seat belt is giving me an allergic rash. It does the job! It feels very soft and plush - more plush than memory foam I would say.
