BELL Ollie Skate Helmet Child Review

I bought this helmet as an alternative to my full electric skateboard helmet. It was a perfect fit for my height of approx. 55 cm. Someone with a slightly larger head may have more trouble finding a snug fit. The buckle strap has a lot of slack which allows it to be used on a head of different lengths.

The helmet, like all Bell helmets, is excellent and arrived on time. I removed one star from the rating because the sizing guide needs to be revised OR the seller needs to add a note that they run too big. My son didn't want to return it so I had to add padding to fit his (normal) head.

This helmet is too big. I really want to love it because I love the brand, we have a toddler helmet that fits perfectly (that's why I gave 3 stars instead of 1 or 2). However, this helmet fits my husband! Even with a stocking cap, it's too big for my six-year-old. I believe if your child has a big head for their size then this helmet might be suitable.

Bought this helmet for our 11 year old and it's huge! He has a normal sized head, but this helmet sits too high on his head. Not streamlined at all. We've had other Bell helmets and they look and work great. Something is wrong with this landing.
