Description of 🚴 Enhanced SEO: BELL Sidetrack II Youth Cycling Helmet

FUSION IN-MOLD POLYCARBONATE SHELL - A process pioneered by Bell bonds the helmet's outer shell to the EPS foam liner to create a sturdier helmet. ERGO-FIT - What was once ErgoDial now has an improved dial feel and function (no longer requires a push to turn) and is more sleek and less bulky. NO-TWIST TRI-GLIDES AND SWEAT GUIDE - Quick-adjust fasteners that help keep straps flat and properly positioned. Sweat Guide pad design pulls moisture away from the brow pad and away from eyewear. SPECIFICATIONS - Universal Toddler (45-52 cm), Universal Youth (47-54 cm) and Universal Child (50-57 cm) Sizes; 14 vents.

The best helmet! suitable for cycling

Perfect fit for our 2.5 year old. It is easy to put on and adjust the size. It is also very lightweight yet durable. Although the design was really good. No complaints.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Modern

Excellent and affordable

Fits my 8 year old like a glove; nice and light and not too warm. The front visor is a little flimsy and the strap could be better, but neither my son nor I have any complaints.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Straps fall apart: Cycling

Helmet offers good protection and looks good but the clip is falling off the strap. It happened twice. The first time I wrote off as a user. The second time I blame the manufacturer. You need to find a way to ensure the straps don't fall apart.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Available in white only

That's Real Red - Adult Helmets

The color isn't what I expected at all but I prefer the bright red in the pictures to the bright orange. My kids aren't that picky and still like the color red, but I feel the need to point this out to potential buyers who may be specifically looking for an orange helmet.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Excellent youth helmet for a round head

My daughter's head is relatively round and her hair is a bit long. This helmet was perfect for that. It's about 3/8" wider than equivalent Giro helmets (too tight on the sides), has rear adjustment (tighter for round heads than the stretch material in the more economical Bell models), and contains no internal MIPS plastic. that get caught on longer hairs on some earlier Bell MIPS models.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Damaged

Bell is the benchmark for helmets. I had all types for many sports. Their name is so good that I just assume their products are good. This helmet is not very good. The harness/suspension system is a nightmare. The fittings move on the cloth, the child cannot adjust it, in the end it just comes loose. It is a complete design flaw when a youth helmet can fail so completely with normal use. It then falls apart and the child continues to use it without realizing how badly the security has been…

Pros
  • One-year trial
Cons
  • Reliability
