works well, patched tube has been holding air like new for several months now. Be sure to erase the area and clean it as much as possible to get the best stick.

I like this set for the patches. No messy rubber glue. The patches simply stick to the pipe after cleaning. Some other reviewers say they don't stick, but I've never had a problem with mine. I suppose if you had a stem or seam leak that could be the problem, but that hasn't happened to me.

Was very happy to find this as local shops quickly restocked it. I have always used these types of patches on my mountain bike with great success and in the past they have been very cheap at Walmart, Academy, kmart etc. But those shops didn't sell them anymore.

I ordered 1 hoping to get a key to adjust the hub bearing cones. But the package came with everything except the key. I don't want to take the time to return it for anything over $5. The patches and tire levers are not worth it, the levers are too thick. Anyone who wants to get patches can buy a slime kit at Walmart in the motorcycle department for a few bucks, they come in a variety of sizes for your repair and will work just fine too. I just got a new clone Schwinn Volare and got a flat on day one due to misaligned rim tape (sharp spoke notch). I wanted to ride the bike to finish my derailleur setup and used this patch set. I followed the instructions EXACTLY. The patch failed when I inflated the tube to 60psi (the bike has Kenda 700 x 28 tires with a max pressure of 85psi).
