I can't say enough about these cutting mats. They are very thick but flexible. You get FOUR for less than $10. They're strong but not indestructible (nobody said that because they're plastic). I have ordered several other Bellemain products and have always been happy with their quality but these cutting mats suck. The photos I have included show one of the rugs after a loaf of handmade sourdough bread has been cut. I was expecting to see light scratches on the surface (I ended up using a serrated bread knife), but these rugs were literally torn apart. The boards that appeared did not match the specifications in the product list, hence the reason for 3 stars. The listing had lots of non-stick circles on the back of the board and the boards didn't have a hole for hanging or picking.
