I was looking for a carafe to save electricity and not make extra coffee. I couldn't help but try this product because the price was very good. It's advertised as staying hot for 12 hours and the reviews I've read have been good. I don't stay warm enough. We make coffee at 7am and at 1am it's still warm but definitely not HOT.

I don't drink coffee, but my husband does. He likes to brew marijuana and then drink it all day. When his old coffee maker, which had a thermos flask, gave up the ghost, he decided to go with a regular coffee maker and I gave him this carafe. He loves to! It keeps his coffee hot, the design is much better than the previous one and the easy pouring is really easy. Bought this to replace my old carafe. I liked the wide neck offering (the ability to add ice) and the stylish design. I don't keep the coffee in it all day, but it keeps it warm for hours. However, I noticed two things that don't excite me: Firstly, due to the wide opening, this small pot takes time to pour a cup. In fact, the lid is very small! Stupid, but it annoys me. Very pleased with the performance and looks of this carafe! I haven't used it in extremely cold temperatures but it keeps the coffee maker hot for over 24 hours and when I top it up with boiling temp it keeps it hot and fresh for almost 2 full days. It looks great on the counter next to all the other little stainless steel appliances and I will be buying more soon so I have a selection of drinks that are kept at the perfect temperature. I have a bun coffee maker that makes great coffee fast. Unfortunately it burns if I leave it warm for an hour. I thought the thermal jug was the solution and I was right - it keeps my coffee hot all day long. Not hot, but drink hot. I have a stone counter and in the winter I can say this doesn't work, but heating the pot of hot water for a few minutes will probably fix it. As for cleaning, it's a breeze.
