Clear 375ml Bellissima Bottles - Case of 12 by NiceBottles Review

I bought these bottles for my small business. I make cooking oils and essential oils. I've lost hundreds of dollars in products and future customers due to the cap failure. I've used them once on a previous occasion and had success, but the new product they ship is defective.

I bought these to bottle limoncello which I made - just what I wanted. On some, the cork can be a little tight, so keep an eye on that, otherwise everything is fine. Plastic seals worked well too, I've tried both the water method and the heat gun method, I recommend the 2nd method.

They were great for homemade kahlua that I made as Christmas gifts. Made for a beautiful presentation. Shrink wrap lids were an elegant touch and weren't difficult to understand. Tried hair dryer, gas torch and heat gun. The gas stove and heat gun methods worked great, the heat gun was the easiest. Using a hair dryer didn't help at all.

At first glance this seems to be a great product. But after testing the bottles, make sure everything is ready. I had broken 3 connectors as in the picture I provided. I wasn't rude to them, they opened up well. Unfortunately I needed these bottles so I worked with what I had left. There is simply no quality control. This makes you wary of passing them off as a finished product. It would be embarrassing to give it away and the same would happen.

Great bottles but corks are very disappointing and that is the only reason for my lower rating on this product. If you need them for single use they might be ok, but a couple of caps got ripped off the cork when the bottle was first uncorked. We bought them to bottle our homemade limoncello and because corks break so often they are totally unsuitable for any use where the bottle needs to be taken out and resealed regularly. The glass at the bottom of the bottle is not as heavy/thick as the last case of the same bottles I bought two months ago (filled bottle on the right photo two months ago - left blank from current affairs). I liked the heavy glass and that was one of the reasons I reordered. I don't know if I'm going to send them back or not, otherwise they're fine. I previously ordered them in May. They were beautiful and well packaged. I clicked 'reorder' to get more but what arrived today is not the same. It's definitely the second, with the odd wobbly bulge in the glass of all the bottles. I could swear the latter had a clear, thick, hard bottom, while these have a depression in the bottom and aren't thick. Bought these to bottle my homemade coffee liqueur and give as gifts. My impression glass: The glass is thick and dark. They look and feel like high quality bottles. Caps/Plugs: Plungers with a plastic cap seal tightly and require sufficient force to remove and reinsert. Shrink caps: Shrink caps feel very comfortable. I love this bottle. Very elegant. Used it to bottle limoncello for Christmas gifts at work. Watch my video on how to heat shrink wrap onto the neck of a bottle using boiling water. I had no problems with anything wrong. Read some bad traffic reports. This is a rotating cap so I would forego a back and forth motion. Be sure to wash before use. The bottles themselves are great, durable and none of them broke in transit. I even sent a bottle of homemade liquor to a friend and it got to her safe and sound so these are great quality bottles. Shrink capsules were a little tricky for me at first, but this was my first time using them, so I finally got the hang of them. Thereafter, the capsules became smooth.
