Wonderfully soft yarn!

Ideal for making blankets, hats or scarves. I've started weaving a blanket on my knitting machine and it's fun to use. And the color combination is very versatile! I love Bernat for blankets and have used it for scarves and gift hats! So many color options. Great Value! Thank you for a wonderful piece of wool.

Perfect! in Knitting & Crochet

I have sewn 3 throws and am working on a comfortable, washable cover for my husband's large leather chair. A wide complementary dark rib threaded through triple crochet stitches creates a really cozy and pretty throw. Only the elastic is sewn together and does not take much time. We used charcoal yarn (soft black) and plum yarn (burgundy) for the bedspread to match our Persian rug. doesn't everything look shabby! It actually looks very rich in a two tone mix. Wash in a warm place with a little…

Fine Yarn - Yarn

I have used Bernat Yarn in many different colors and have always been very happy with the quality of the yarn. I ordered three packs of this yarn, nine skeins total. The first skein I started was very thin and I thought it was a different type of blanket yarn. I continued to work with the yarn and started returning it several times. Now I wish I had. The second strand I pulled out started out like the awesome blanket yarn I was used to. These are very large balls of yarn. About a quarter of…

Cozy Throws

I've bought enough of this yarn in a variety of colors for my mom to knit blankets for me and other family members to keep busy during the winter months. I have made over 10 blankets. she loved it. I love it. This yarn is excellent for making blankets that can be used as a bedspread on a bed or sofa. Good product. Only once have I had a problem with mismatched yarns. I ordered several colors and they were not the same. All other times everything was fine.

Great yarn for work

I love Bernat Blanket. I made about 15 throws with this yarn on my loom. It is easy to work with and feels incredibly soft and cozy. I made one for my friend's dog after he kept stealing the ones I made for my friend. She said they fought over a blanket over a blanket. I made another one for my sister in law. She sent me a photo of her cat peeping out of a blanket. She has to fight her cat to use it.

Pros
  • Made in the USA or Imported
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
