Yarn off-white

I like the softness but am disappointed that it is described as white. If you open it and start using it, it's not. It looks like cream with touches of gray and mousy beige. Also, it's listed as a thick yarn, but I used it on the loom to make a hat and it's too thin. It leaves a lot of gaps. Not suitable for hats. Maybe a nice scarf. Unless one is doubled by another velvet thread.

So Soft: Knitting and Crocheting

This yarn is soft, maybe a little nasty, but incredibly soft and perfect. I didn't know such soft yarn existed before I bought it. I made a scarf out of it for my friend, but quickly fell into an abyss of softness. (I'll steal this scarf asap.) He likes to slide around and can think for himself at times, but the end product is worth it. One skein should be enough for a good scarf, mine is about 4 inches wide. and 6 feet long and I had some left over.

Knitting with crumpled velvet creates slip stitches and loops

The beautiful colors caught my attention when I was knitting plaids. The yarn is very soft BUT don't use it for bulky projects as it slips and creates impossible loops in my rows. I tried 1 thread on a #8 circular needle, 2 threads on a #9 circular needle, tried 3 threads on a #15 circular needle, then mine ripped apart for the 5th time! and returned any unused new skeins for any credit Yarnspirations would offer. With over $130 spent on yarn and shipping, and hours wasted, this Bernat Crushed…

I love this yarn!

This yarn is incredibly soft and I absolutely love it. Reading the reviews I was concerned that people were having trouble getting tangled or that it was really difficult to work with. My skeins were perfect and never tangled from the skein - I didn't even have to rewind it. It's a little harder to work with because it's so soft and flimsy, but maybe because I'm just doing triple chains in long rows for the plaid, it really adds up. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed with is that "white"…

A very disappointing experience

Receiving this beautiful shredded velvet yarn was a real headache! First, the Revain driver who documented that the package was "delivered direct to the occupant" is a big liar. We searched and searched for him when he wasn't there on the appointed day and this afternoon my husband found him dumped in a snowdrift near our house. I took a picture of it before he picked it up but Revane won't let me post it. Luckily the yarn was sealed in its own clear bag so moisture didn't damage it. As for the
