We had high hopes for this watch but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. We changed the AA battery several times and the clock stopped running. Now I look at it, the clock says 7:10 but it's actually 7:36. We turn the clock back and at the end of the day it's at least 10 minutes behind. DO NOT BUY!

The clock complements my kitchen perfectly and is absolutely silent. The only problem I have is that the plastic is deformed and NOT round. This makes the clock look crooked no matter how many times you adjust it. The red plastic it's made of is so soft I'm sure something just warped it and now it's just stuck like that. Shame because it's such a cute watch.

Until now, for sure. Easy to read at a glance. We like the continuous sweep of the second hand and the quiet operation. This is a practical watch with a slightly retro but simple style. "Style" usually doesn't play a role for us - practicality and functionality are more important than form. However, the style of this watch brings back fond memories for me, so it was an unnecessary but nice plus.

I bought this clock with the idea that the second hand clock would not make the sound of a traditional ticking clock so it would work well in the bedroom. It worked as expected for about three weeks and then started making subtle electronic screeching noises as the clock turned each minute. About a week after that it stopped for 10-15 minutes every few days, sometimes restarting, sometimes not. After two or three times to make sure it wasn't the battery I was done.
