Well, at least it works like the old stuff. drain. No longer. It now has a thin plastic basket, no drain yoke, and the handle broke the first time I put small Kei Hin carb parts in it. Pour parts into soup. Not all were magnetic so I had to pour the contents through a sieve to extract them. Shame on Berryman for discounting a necessary part of a vacuum cleaner. Completely unfazed by this penny-saving exercise.

Works very well. I used it to clean my 2bbl Rochester carburetor on my 55 Bel Air. He did a great job clearing the debris and even removing some surface rust. I used this product to clean the carburetor on my scooter. I soaked the metal parts overnight and then just rinsed everything under running water. After I dried everything and put it back in my bike, it all started right away! Runs better than new. BUT then I went to clean everything, I noticed an o-ring and washer in the basket. Although this substance is a corrosive chemical, it should be handled with care and used in a well-ventilated work area without disturbance. Use chemical resistant gloves (no latex, ok, nitrile) and wipe up this stuff if you spill it. a sieve to immerse the parts to be cleaned and prevent corrosion. Works great with many different types of parts and metals, but I still don't trust it with plastic parts so I remove them or use something else if possible.
