The carburetor on my old motorcycle has been standing for several years and urgently needed a thorough cleaning and restoration. It looked like the perfect product for "soaking" and cleaning anything. It worked, but not quite the miracle product I expected. a liquid that needs to be handled like nitroglycerin as it will melt your leg if you spill it on your pants. I dropped the carbs and set the timer for 15 minutes as some had suggested. out of that shiny, shiny carburetor. Part of a mechanism that glows in the sun as if kissed by angels and emits rainbows and unicorns. I pulled it out. AND! Nothing. In an hour. It was better this time, but still not the "carbohydrate fit for the gods" that I was expecting. I ended up saying "The hell with that" and left it for the night. Now IT has done its job! Clean as a whistle and ready to assemble! So bottom line, YES. The product works! Just don't expect it to perform a 15 minute exorcism on a Level 90 Gunk of the Ages coated carb. :-D
