🎀 High-Quality Berwick Offray Matte Olive Green Raffia Ribbon - 1/4'' Wide, 100 Yards Long Review

I asked if customers thought this raffia would stand up to a front door wreath, got many replies, thanks everyone. In case anyone is wondering, I put a piece of this raffia in a cup of water for a few hours and it hasn't lost its color or texture, so I assume it's fine for outdoor use as well.

I made a beach bag with green ribbon for the bottom and flowers and gold for the rest of the bag. Gold color loses its luster when crocheted and can appear brownish. But I still liked the effect. I used a 4.5mm hook and 4.5 strands. The band looks strong but I can tell after using the bag for a while. I will buy for more projects.

I liked the strength of the band. I wasn't sure how to tie the cards, which we had secured with a second hard card stock, to the bag. Input 2 fails completely on my first try. I pulled the tape in and out and it didn't break at all, it was very strong. lots of tape would be rubbish after the first or second hole pulling, tying and untying. I am very happy with it and would buy it again. Buying these items online can be risky for me as the quality and texture are difficult to discern in photos and I am picky. I also really don't like returning things, so I usually cover the cost of things that aren't up to my standards. Thank goodness it was exactly what I wanted! This is a real raffia paper ribbon. One spool is enough! Berwick matte paper ribbon is the only type I use to gift wrap my customers' orders. This particular red variant of "IMPERIAL RED" is best described as a bright, cheerful candy apple red.
