More like a small floor mop

We have been using a dish mop in the kitchen for a while and have decided to replace it with this one. The new one consists of cords similar to those of a regular floor wiper; ie very thick, grainy lines, as opposed to the thinner lines of my original. If the new one gets soaked, the thin wire handle won't take it. It was difficult to keep clean and we feared it would become unsanitary. We threw it in the trash after a few days of use.

Totally annoying and wastes your time

I have never seen the need to review a product especially at this price point but its so awful not worth keeping. The plastic extension between the handle and the head is so flexible that you cannot apply any force to it. Combine this with long, bulky mop stands and you have a product that can only lightly and inefficiently mop what you want to clean. Sorry I didn't read the reviews before purchasing this annoying product, they may have warned me.

Pros
  • Best in niche

Serious? on housewares

Bought this without reading the reviews as I really needed a dish mop. I bought another one but it somehow got lost at its destination (I sent it elsewhere and the building was flooded and in disarray so I lost a couple of mailboxes). I took it out of the box and put it aside until I really needed it. When I used it, damn it (no, I'm not British, but it fits) I actually cut myself with it. Why? Because the wire holding it together had a sharp edge sticking right out! I don't think a dish mop…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
