awesome with added bonus

I use an electric cool box and also a cellphone booster so I had to double the outlet on the back. Also, there is no USB port, so I solved that issue for this article as well. Unexpected Bonus: Before I installed this, my rear camera had distortion on the screen when I had the Cell Booster on, but not anymore.

This is really a great product!

High quality and very durable adapter. I've been running a small cooler, two iPhone chargers, and various other USB electronic devices at the same time. The power cord is also thicker, allowing you to use devices that may require a lot of power to operate. Double sided tape is included to allow the adapter to be secured under the dash. One of my favorite Revain purchases.

3 ports would be enough!

I've read reviews that this thing will short out if too many things are plugged into it at once. I connected 3 items at the same time (2 round ports and one USB) and didn't see any change in performance. I will say that 3 full size cables in a car is a lot. I think if you really think you need to use all 4 ports at once then you need to reconsider your priorities.

I use all four ports at the same time and it doesn't overheat!

I bought this to connect a Bluetooth FM transmitter for cigarette lighter, DVR, Samsung s7 (2.1a USB) and my wife's iPhone 7 (1a USB). I hooked up all four devices during a trip home from Houston to Austin, Texas and back. I also left it camping overnight to turn on the dash cam while we slept. This device does not get hot! I'm emphasizing this because I read some reviews about this unit overheating before I bought mine. If yours is overheating you might be trying to draw over 150 watts orโ€ฆ

Best in Lighting and Electrical

I read reviews before I buy and have to weigh positive and negative reviews to decide if a product is worth the risk. I'm almost always happy with my purchases, but this isn't one of them. Quite simply, USB ports are unreliable. My devices plugged into the USB ports keep turning on and off, but most of the time they get NO power. To add to the injury, the self-adhesive mounting pad simply failed, even though I installed it in a very secure location and the wiring ran in the terminalsโ€ฆ
