Ignore others who don't have surge protectors. This is the one you want. Or at least the ones I love. This is the 5th I've ordered because they are so useful and work great! I have one for my bed, for my niece going to college, for my husbands office, one for travel and one for my sister. I love the weight of this item. It charges very quickly when only 1 device is connected, however I have found that when more devices are connected there is a lot of momentary discharge from other connected devices. For example, if you're connecting a Raspberry Pi, connect your phone. , the Pi will reboot.
