Order these key fobs for my dad's 2009 Grand Cherokee. The listing shows the 5 button remote I need. I received the key fobs and they sent me a 6 button minivan key fob. I submitted a refund and they rushed to replace the keychains. The fobs I received today are 4 button fobs, although the sticker on the box says 5 button fobs. After losing a week and a half I'm back where I started.

We only had one key fob for our 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and decided we'd better get another one in case we lose the original one. Bought this one and took it to a local locksmith because you can't program your own with a single key fob. The locksmith programmed it and cut a new key in 10 minutes and it only cost $45. It's a lot cheaper than the dealer who asks $200. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to a friend.

I bought two of these. I programmed the first one at a locksmith and it works 95% of the time, but the range is nowhere near what I get with the factory key. I programmed the second one with the on-board procedure. It reports that the key was successfully programmed and the key starts the car fine, but it locks and unlocks the doors about 10% of the time. Update: The button to open the rear window does not work on any of these key fobs. Downgraded to 2 stars.
