Beast mode is good for kitchen and dining room

This thing is a monster. It easily slices through anything we throw at it. We bought it primarily for cheese and beef jerky. We partially frozen the beef before slicing, and the slices can be made as thin as you'd like. The depth of the blade (thickness of cut) is adjustable, so you can fine tune it as much as you like. My first attempts made the beef slices so thin that they were completely translucent. Since getting this, we've also bought a large Costco turkey breast and sliced our own deli…

Pros
  • No need to sharpen blade often
Cons
  • embarrassing

Great slicer for the money

My wife (Lisa) got this for Christmas and so far it has been a great slicer. I've shopped for years to find one with all the features I wanted at the price I wanted to pay and save on one feature, the Beswood 10" nailed it. Constructed entirely of stainless steel and aluminum , it's durable (read: beefy, at 35 pounds) seems well built, and slices like a dream Adjust from 0 to 1, I can get shaved thicks of ham, pastrami, and turkey all day Cart moves like silk and the slicing couldn't be…

Pros
  • Precisely cuts meat, cheese, vegetables, ham, fruit
Cons
  • Not automatic

Exclusively for the kitchen and dining room

About 10 years ago I had a meat grinder and it worked fine but nothing special. I tested many other meat grinders before buying this one and found most of them to be slow, or quite noisy, underpowered, or just don't last very long. Sure, I've looked at slicers that cost around $120 or less, but they just weren't what I was looking for - a quality product will work well and last a long time. Although this slicer costs more than I was willing to pay, it does exactly what I need it to do and does…

Pros
  • High quality chrome steel blade with anti-corrosion protection
Cons
  • For the elderly
