Fixed some issues

This works fine but I wouldn't say it would work for doors unless you want to drill holes in them. It also doesn't mount well. To keep it from slipping off the screws I got creative and drilled screws under and above the metal mounting bars to keep it from falling off. See fig. Above are screws for hanging and below the iron above the cross bar for fixing. Works perfectly.

The perfect storage solution!

A problem that I was able to easily fix thanks to previous reviewers. The screws provided with the kit have a very small head and do not provide a sufficient fastening system on their own. Luckily I had a couple of pucks on hand. You must use two washers for each screw because the screw heads are so small that they slip right through the holes in the large washers. But putting the small washer on top of the big one worked well! I was also concerned that my Hamilton Beach iron would not fit with

Additional wall mounts for ironing accessories

As you would expect, this iron and ironing board holder will hold your iron and ironing board. (Best Dish & Ironing Board Holder, Chrome, 1425) It's not trendy, but it looks good, and that's ok. I avoid my iron and ironing board as much as possible, so I just wanted a spot for them that was off the ground and out of the way. My husband added plastic wall anchors to make it a bit more secure. It's been a few weeks now and I've used my iron and ironing board two or three times and they're still…

The iron/board holder is ok. but the mounting hardware sucks!

When we received this unit I had high expectations but the screws provided make no sense for the type of attachment required for this part. Basically you only get screws and cheap dowels. but there are no holes in the device to thread them. Thus, the block essentially just sits on bolts that cannot be fully tightened. If you try to push the screw head against the edge of the device, it will just pop out from under the bracket. If left loose on the screws, it will simply lift up when you remove…

Installation hardware Requires flat washers

I originally bought this Rowenta Pro Master 1700W iron stand. So I tried the iron in the holder first and it stood up, but I noticed that there was no extra space. What I didn't realize was that the iron would tip forward two inches from the back of the holder. This has both a plus and a minus: the plus is that you can safely put a hot iron in the cradle; Minus because it takes up extra space on my wall mount. Mine is mounted on the wall next to the stairs in the basement so it protrudes. After

Updated and improved hanging method

I was thinking of writing a review for this OE because I almost bought it based on some complaints from other reviewers. I was looking for something inexpensive and simple that would allow me to collect all of these items in one place and get them off the floor. I've read reviews of suspension problems due to "shackles" instead of bolt holes. Also the fact that the arms of the iron holder aren't wide enough for the bottom of some irons, especially if you wrap the cord. But I figured since it…
